Thank you, Rebecca. Yes, at some point HW will pay the price of his illusions. And I really do feel for him.

There is a question of dignity and self-respect in all this too. Do you remember that line from the Desiderata back in the day? "Even the dull and ignorant, for they too have their story."

No matter how he's been used or what he's about to go through as his eyes are opened, HW is still a man with a soul trying to make his way home.

We all get there in the end. Some of us just take the long way round.
