Thanks for reading. I agree that ideology plays a part, but nobody on Twitter called Alito a racial slur after the Dobbs decision. Yet Thomas was singled out for the N-word many times. Race is inescapable. And while I hate the fact that he appears to be under the influence of wealthy friends, I think we’re well advised to be mindful of the racial dimension to all this.
