Thanks for writing this. I hope it goes viral. Maybe it already has. I want everyone who’s ever used the term to read this. The acronym is completely repulsive. Its wide use accepts as normal an idea that was once considered profane. Personally, I think it still is. I applaud you for calling it out. And for the fine writing in this excellent essay.
