This is an extremely powerful piece. I know it's fiction, but it has the ring of a truth too painful to bear. Almost too painful to hear. And yet we all know from the statistics that it's all too true for too many.

I don't know how you wrote this very real fiction without falling down from exhaustion, Tre. But I'm glad you've written and published it. Thank you for bringing this painful story to light with such emotional truth and undeniable credibility. It was riveting.
