This is something I experienced too when I was "busy and important."

…s I’d outgrown. That’s not to say it was a bad life; some of it was and remains downright stunning. But it wasn’t really mine — and I knew that if I continued to distract myself with my Busy and Important lifestyle, I’d never have one that was.

This is something I experienced too when I was "busy and important." I'm glad to know you were able to recognize it. Not everyone does. Or if they do, many ignore it. Anyway, I'm glad to see you in print again.
