What you've discovered for yourself, I once heard from meditation teacher years ago. His advice was a little different and was aimed at stemming anxiety. Just open and close your hands, he said, and as you do so say, "I'm alright right now." Works wonders, as I'm convinced your good advice in this column does too. Bravo to you for being mindful enough in your own daily life to learn and share what works.
