You may not consider yourself a "writer," but you have certainly written an important, necessary, and heartfelt piece. Have you gotten around to reading "Americanah," by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie? You might find it interesting to see how Nigerian immigrants look upon the descendants of American slavery. It's not the only theme of the novel, but there are some telling scenes that expose the disconnect between Black immigrants and ADOS. Thank you very much for writing this. I'm really glad to have read this thoughtful perspective.
