Your attitude is inspiring! You’re also echoing to some extent what Mitt Romney said when he announced he would not seek reelection. Step aside from politics but stay actively involved in other ways. This seems wise to me. And I applaud your efforts to do just that.

At this time of life, perhaps Boomers should become elder statesmen/women, whom a respectful younger generation turn to for guidance.
